Dynamical instantons and activated processes in mean-field glass models

چکیده

We focus on the energy landscape of a simple mean-field model glasses and analyze activated barrier-crossing by combining Kac-Rice method for high-dimensional Gaussian landscapes with dynamical field theory. In particular, we consider Langevin dynamics at low temperature in pure spherical p-spin model. select as initial condition one many unstable index-1 saddles vicinity reference local minimum. show that associated equations admit two solutions: corresponds to falling back original minimum, other reaching new minimum past barrier. By varying saddle scan characterize properties such minima reachable barrier-crossing. Finally, using time-reversal transformations, construct two-point function instanton corresponding process.

Mean Field Dynamical Exponents in Finite - Dimensional Ising Spin Glass

We report the value of the dynamical critical exponent z for the six dimensional Ising spin glass, measured in three different ways: from the behavior of the energy and the susceptibility with the Monte Carlo time and by studying the overlap-overlap correlation function as a function of the space and time. All three results are in a very good agreement with the Mean Field prediction z = 4. Fina...

Against Chaos in Temperature in Mean Field Spin Glass Models

We study the problem of chaos in temperature in some mean-field spin-glass models by means of a replica computation over a model of coupled systems. We propose a set of solutions of the saddle point equations which are intrinsically non-chaotic and solve a general problem regarding the consistency of their structure. These solutions are relevant in the case of uncoupled systems too, therefore t...

Evidence of aging in spin-glass mean-field models.

We study numerically the out of equilibrium dynamics of the hypercubic cell spin glass in high dimensionalities. We obtain evidence of aging effects qualitatively similar both to experiments and to simulations of low dimensional models. This suggests that the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick model as well as other mean-field finite connectivity lattices can be used to study these effects analytically. P...

The Thermodynamic Limit in Mean Field Spin Glass Models

We present a simple strategy in order to show the existence and uniqueness of the infinite volume limit of thermodynamic quantities, for a large class of mean field disordered models, as for example the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick model, and the Derrida p-spin model. The main argument is based on a smooth interpolation between a large system, made of N spin sites, and two similar but independent su...
